Discover all that Beverly's can offer a child in need.

Every child, regardless of personal or financial circumstances, deserves to have a very special birthday. Beverly's Birthdays partners with 93+ social service agencies and 113 low-income schools throughout the Pittsburgh region to support children experiencing homelessness and families in need. Through our six programs, we currently recognize 30,000 birthdays annually.  

Spreading Birthday Cheer With You

If you represent an agency that services children experiencing homelessness and/or families in need, and are intersted in learning more about our work, please contact us. Our work is focused in/around the greater Pittsburgh region. (Note: Support is always based on capacity and our current funding).

Supporting babies through the first milestone year

Through our Itty Bitty Birthday Cheer Program, Beverly’s Birthdays is able to support families through from pregnancy through the first birthday.  Through a variety of partnerships, we are able to offer families our First Year Cheer initiative, which is able to support families with baby care items from pregnancy through the first birthday. Depending on your county of residence, we offer different services.

Allegheny County 

  • Attend one of our free virtual or in-person community baby showers. These events are opportunities to receive baby care supplies and get connected to resources that will benefit you and your family during and post pregnancy.
  • If you are affiliated with the following Allegheny County Family Centers: McKeesport, Duquesne, Clairton, Hazelwood, Hilltop, South Hills, Steel Valley, you can receive baby care items up to four times in the first year.  Learn more. 
  • If you are affiliated with Healthy Start-Hello Baby Priority program, you can receive baby care items up to four times in the first year.
  • If you are affiliated with any of the Allegheny County Family Centers, they can provide you with an Itty Bitty Birthday Cheer Bin (newborn care package) during your pregnancy.

Armstrong 

  • If you are enrolled in an Early Head Start or Head Start program, they can provide you with an Itty Bitty Birthday Cheer Bin (newborn care package) during your pregnancy.
  • If you are enrolled in an Early Head Start program, and have a child 0-36 months, you can receive baby care items to support your family throughout the babies first, second, and third year. Connect with your EHS teacher/supervisor.
  • If you are receiving Early Intervention services, and have a child 0-36 months, you can receive baby care items to support your family throughout the babies first, second, and third year. Connect with your EI Service Coordinator.

Beaver County

  • If you are enrolled in a Lifesteps Early Head Start program, and have a child 0-36 months, you can receive baby care items to support your family throughout the babies first, second, and third year. Connect with your EHS teacher/supervisor.
  • If you are enrolled in the Lifesteps CHOIC – Plan for Safe Care Initiative, and have a child 0-36 months, you can receive baby care items to support your family throughout the babies first, second, and third year. Connect with Plan of Safe Care coordinator.

Fayette 

  • If you are receiving Early Intervention services, and have a child 0-36 months, you can receive baby care items to support your family throughout the babies first, second, and third year. Connect with your EI Service Coordinator.

Washington

Westmoreland County
